Summary
The app streams live video from your device. We do not collect personal data, use advertising or third-party analytics, or sell or share data with anyone. We have no servers of our own: your video goes only to the destinations you choose.
What data the app handles and where it stays
- Video and audio from your camera and microphone are processed on the device and sent only to the servers you configure (SRT, RIST or RTMP, such as YouTube or Facebook). Those services handle what they receive under their own policies.
- Settings and credentials (connection profiles, passphrases, RTMP keys and the OBS password) are stored only on the device.
- Recordings are saved on your device, in
Movies/Haronz Caster. - Diagnostic log: stays on the device and is shared only if you choose to copy and send it.
- "Pro" purchase: processed by Google Play Billing under Google's privacy policy. We do not see or store your payment details.
Network connections
- The app opens the SRT and RIST ports you configure.
- It listens on UDP port 47801 for return audio (IFB).
- If you use the OBS link, it connects to OBS over WebSocket.
- If you turn on "Sync with other Casters", it announces itself on your local network (NSD).
Permissions
- Camera and microphone: to capture what you stream or record.
- Internet and network state: to connect to your destinations and devices.
- Notifications and foreground service: to keep streaming in the background and show its control.
- Google Play Billing: for the "Pro" purchase.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
